This database includes records from the insect collection of the Illinois Natural History Survey for Illinois insect species in greatest need of conservation. The list was developed as part of the Illinois Wildlife Action Plan. Use the search interface or find species, for which you need information, in the list.

Funding for this project was provided by State Wildlife Grant #T-38P entitled “Historical occurrence and present status of Illinois insect species in greatest need of conservation” to C. H. Dietrich, Illinois Natural History Survey. The database and web interface were developed using 3I, software written by D. Dmitriev, INHS.
