Interactive Utility for Nomenclator Zoologicus Search

The on-line version of Nomenclator Zoologicus provides the most comprehensive list of genera and subgenera in zoology. The utility allows to make searches for multiple names of taxa in the Nomenclator Zoologicus for possible homonymy. Enter the list of genera or subgenera into the form. Names of taxa can be separated by commas, semicolons, spaces, tabs, or paragraphs. The utility can check up to 50-100 names at a time. If there are too many taxa in the list, the utility may do a partial search and/or return an error message. The utility retrieves the list of taxa with number of matching records in the Nomenclator Zoologicus and direct hyperlinks to those records.
